Product Description

The VAQ section of the DipPEC exam tests ones ability to prioritise knowledge. The time restriction forces one to list the most relevant knowledge points and it also tests the ability to move on to the next topic, even if there are some unresolved issues on the previous question. This is a crucial skill for the emergency physician, often we will be busy with an unsuccessful trauma resus and then have to move onto a 6 month old in respiratory distress without the time to debrief. The ability to ‘change gear’ and move on is an essential skill for succeeding in the VAQ.
