On-Call Point-of-Care Ultrasound Service
MD Inc. Specialist Emergency Physicians are all level 1 ultrasound accredited practitioners. This accreditation includes central line placement under ultrasound guidance.
Ultrasound guided central line placement has been convincingly shown in the literature to improve success rates and minimise complications.
We can perform point-of-care ultrasound at the venue of your choice. When a central line is needed the requesting physician need only call our dedicated on-call number: 076 994 3584. The line will then be placed by our on-call specialist. MD Inc. will bill the medical aid directly.
